Kingfisher launching Mumbai flight

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kingfisher Airlines has announced the launch of nine new flights on its domestic network, including one between Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.

With this, Kingfisher Airlines becomes the only airline in India to offer flight services between Mumbai-Kolhapur, New Delhi-Pantnagar and Jabalpur- Indore, a statement said here on Saturday.

The new flights will offer the Kingfisher Red service, and bookings for all flights have now begun.

The Kingfisher Red service features Sky Treats - an exclusive gourmet cuisine service at affordable prices, reading material, frequent flier privileges and multiple check-in options.

The timings of the new Mumbai service are as follows: IT 3137 - Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram; Departure (Mumbai)- 12:15 pm, Arrival (Thiruvananthapuram) - 2:15 pm. The flight will be operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

IT 3138- Thiruvananthapuram-Mumbai; Departure (Thiruvananthapuram) -2:45 pm, Arrival (Mumbai)- 4:45 pm. The flight will be operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The statement said that Kingfisher Airlines caters to all segments of air travel, ranging from the low-fare service Kingfisher Red, to the premium economy service Kingfisher Class, to the luxurious Kingfisher First.

Kingfisher Airlines offers the maximum number of flights offered by any single airline network in the country. Kingfisher Airlines today operates 330 daily flights to 60 cities in India and eight international destinations with a fleet of 66 aircraft.
